Change That Thinking!

#ChangeThatThinking

"Success is who you have, who you are and all you do."

Few years ago I didn't see myself as a success because I failed in many of my plans and projects. I was troubled and almost gave up trying new things. I thought I was a failure; I thought nothing good could happen for me.

Here was the challenge; "I didn't understand the difference between Success and failure. Success as a person and Success as an event."

These days, list like it did happen to me, a lot of people are equating failure as an event with failure as a person. But there is a difference between the two.

The fact that you failed in school, in that business, in that relationship, in that subject... does not make you a failure. That shows that you have the opportunity to do better and Succeed.

You are not what you have done. You are not what you have. You are not what others assess you to be. You are not what you don't have. You are who God says you are. Success is who He said you are.

Don't allow your challenges, mistakes and adversities define your life. Don't let those adverts on the media define Success for you. They believe if you can have a fantastic job, good house, cute car, and all that seems nice and lovely, you are successful. Yes, those things are a part of success but not success itself.

Like we said before, you are a success and through that, you set your goals and achieve them. Success is living in the plan of God for your life. Success is becoming your best in all you do. Success is helping others become better. Success is becoming a solution.

If your goal is to steal a bank and you did it, you have succeeded in your goal, but you are a failure in life. Why? Because true success is not in doing wrong. Real success is not achieving your goals by destroying others.

This implies that there is a difference between Success as a person and Success as an event.  Refuse to be defined by your external experience; allow your internal reality to bring out the success in you.

If you tried and failed, try again; this time with God and with new strategy. Don't think you are a failure, know that you are a success. Start your new year as a success and you will experience more successes.

Success is who you are!
