YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR PAST
Dear LADIES (Part 3)
You are more than your past.
While i was in school, there was a lady who was afraid of getting married. Why? She had been heart broken so many times.
She told me that she had been in more than 17 relationships and none of them led to marriage.
As we spoke, i encouraged her with God's word and began to teach her about the love and plans of God for her life.
I saw her yesterday, she is married to a pastor and they have three lovely Children.
Why did i share this story with you? Because I know that there is someone out there almost giving up on life.
I came today to remind or inform you that "there is hope for you." Though men and friends are done with you, God is not done with you.
Let go of your past, your past has no right to define you. Your past is not your present and can never be except you give it the permission to be. Don't let your past steal you present, you are better than your past.
You can be happy again. You can get back your heart beauty. You can smile again, even in the midst of that disappointment, that shame, and that challenge.
Don't let the voices of fear, failure, insecurity, mistakes, condemnation, negative experiences and bad results becloud your vision.
Don't listen to those voices, just rest in God's love and plans, and allow the Holy Spirit bring out His peace that passes all understanding in you.
You are more than you think and know you are. God has a better plan for you.
You are more than your past. Let your past make you better, not bitter.
Success is who you are!
