Wall Clock Don't Make Successful People

GIVE YOURSELF TIME AND YOU WILL BEAT YOUR PRESENT EXPECTATIONS

One of the greatest competitions in Africa today is not just power, but popularity.

Most people have traded their future, their children, their spouse, their happiness and their all just for popularity.

There is popularity in Success, yet popularity doesn't depict success.

Dr. Mick Murdock once said, "popularity is when other people like you. Happiness is when you like yourself."

While I was working in the banking sector, some years back; I was receiving good pay as salary, but I always felt empty and unhappy. I felt like everyday should be holiday. I never enjoyed what I was doing.

Yes I didn't enjoy my job, but I was almost the cost popular staff at my level. Everyone wanted me to attend to them. Some said they love my simplicity in service, speed, excellence, sociability and communication skills; yet I was never happy with myself.

For you to have real success, "don't trade your peace and happiness for popularity."

Popularity has become so cheap that even fools are gifted with it. Don't let the campaign for popularity take you off your purpose.

Living purposeful will always give you a popular end. It is better to live in your purpose and become popular in being purposeful.

Be popular in your assignment. Be popular for solving problems. Be popular for making great impact that brings out the success in others. Be popular for loving your children, family and all you serve the world with.

Success requires time, give yourself some time as you work on yourself and walk into the success you desire.

Success is who you are!

Success Is Your Destiny

SUCCESS IS YOUR DESTINY.

Success is a journey that has many destinations, yet it is your destiny.

As a student, parent and teen, we must decide our destination before we begin our Success journey because if success is not our Target we will never hit it.

What are we looking for?
What are our expectations for this year and beyond?
What is that one thing that we have decided we must accomplish this year?

We must have goals if we must enjoy Success.
I have seen great differences in my life since I began to set goals for my life. I have also seen many students increase in their academics since they began to follow our academic success goals map.

Sam Adeyemi said, "Goals are powerful. They make the difference between Success and failure, between wealth and poverty, and between happiness and frustration.

A student without specific goals will achieve nothing but failure. Without goals, success is impossible because goals make success measureable.

I want you to have excellent results this year in your academic and personal life; so I will be teaching you more on the formulas to achieving more success.

You have to plan the success you desire and work on yourself and your plan if you must enjoy more successes this year.

I see you succeeding because Success is your destiny.

Arise, Take Up Yourself And Succeed

#Succeed

ARISE, TAKE UP YOUR LIFE AND SUCCEED

Success is possible for every student, yet few have understood how to make it work for them.

Success has principles, and these principles are universal. They can be applied by anyone and the result is gauranteed.

In mathematics, you have formulas to solving a particular mathematical problem. It doesn't matter who you are, if you know the formula and apply it on the question, you will get the right answer. So it is with Success.

Success has some formulas, and those formulas practically make it possible for all to enjoy success.

Here are some Success Formulas, as shared by Paul J. Mayer, who became a millionaire at twenty-six.

The Five Success Formulas of Paul J. Meyer.

1. You must crystallize your thinking. Determine what specific goals you want to achieve. Don't aim at nothing, don't aim at so many things at a time. Aim at something specific and get it right.

2. You must develop a plan for achieving your goal and a deadline for it's attainment. Without planning, achieving your goal seems impossible.

3. You must develop a sincere desire for the things you want in life. Desires are powerful, they make Success happen. A burning desire is a great motivation for every action. You can't succeed without a great desire.

4. You must develop supreme confidence in yourself and your own abilities. You must see Success in everything you do. You must walk and work in the confidence of success. Never let defeat take hold of your mind.

5. You must develop a dogged determination to follow through on your plan regardless of obstacles, criticisms or circumstances.

Believe that God fashioned you as success and wants you succeed. He has placed in you the ability to create new successes every day.

Take up yourself, get in with the right mindset; take the risk lead and trust God to help you in your success journey.

It is time.! It is now! Take action immediately and become the success you are.

Success is who you are!

Succeed If You Want To

#Succeed

Some people call wishes goals, while some who think they have goals come to realize that they were wishing.

A goal not written is a life lost.

Those who set goal have better focus for their life. They know what to do, when to do it and where to spend most of their time if they must become successful.

Today, I would love to share with you the ABC of goals.

A. Achievable: You can't set a goal that makes you ashamed of yourself. Your goals should be achievable, not the ones that will confuse you. Don't set goals just to impress people, or to put yourself under undue pressure.

B. Believable: If you don't believe in the goals you set, how then can you work to achieve them? You should set goals that inspire faith and not doubt in your mind; goals that create excitement in your heart and cause you to take action without living under pressure.

C. Concrete: If you aim at nothing, you will hit anything. If you don't know what you want, you will accept anything that comes. Your goals should be specific. They should be measurable. And they must have deadlines for their attainment.

You can't fail when you set goals that are in line with your life purpose and be committed to it.

Write the goals, make it achievable, believable and concrete and you will succeed.

Change That Thinking!

#ChangeThatThinking

"Success is who you have, who you are and all you do."

Few years ago I didn't see myself as a success because I failed in many of my plans and projects. I was troubled and almost gave up trying new things. I thought I was a failure; I thought nothing good could happen for me.

Here was the challenge; "I didn't understand the difference between Success and failure. Success as a person and Success as an event."

These days, list like it did happen to me, a lot of people are equating failure as an event with failure as a person. But there is a difference between the two.

The fact that you failed in school, in that business, in that relationship, in that subject... does not make you a failure. That shows that you have the opportunity to do better and Succeed.

You are not what you have done. You are not what you have. You are not what others assess you to be. You are not what you don't have. You are who God says you are. Success is who He said you are.

Don't allow your challenges, mistakes and adversities define your life. Don't let those adverts on the media define Success for you. They believe if you can have a fantastic job, good house, cute car, and all that seems nice and lovely, you are successful. Yes, those things are a part of success but not success itself.

Like we said before, you are a success and through that, you set your goals and achieve them. Success is living in the plan of God for your life. Success is becoming your best in all you do. Success is helping others become better. Success is becoming a solution.

If your goal is to steal a bank and you did it, you have succeeded in your goal, but you are a failure in life. Why? Because true success is not in doing wrong. Real success is not achieving your goals by destroying others.

This implies that there is a difference between Success as a person and Success as an event.  Refuse to be defined by your external experience; allow your internal reality to bring out the success in you.

If you tried and failed, try again; this time with God and with new strategy. Don't think you are a failure, know that you are a success. Start your new year as a success and you will experience more successes.

Success is who you are!

Focus And Succeed

#StayFocused.

"Not all good things are good for you, as long as they take your focus off your goals, purpose, assignment and plans."

To stay focused is to stay on your purpose, even after you succeed. It is to give consistent and persistent attention to your goals.

Focus is anything that consumes your time, energy, finances and attention.

One major enemy of success is distraction. It is being busy outside your goals without giving attention to details that helps you achieve your goals.

Nobody (Student, teacher or parent) ever reaches her full potential by shattered focus. When you lack focus, you lack concentration, progress and productivity.

I read a story I would like to share with you.

DON'T REPLACE FIRST WITH OTHERS!

A young man was preparing to wed. He was poor & needed to borrow a suit from someone to use for his wedding. He went to where to borrow the wedding suit. When he got there, he met the whole family feasting. He was offered food & he sat down to eat without telling them his mission first .

While the eating was going on, another young man rushed in & demanded to see the man of the house. They told him to sit down & eat with them. He told them he is in an hurry & he just came to see the man of the house. The man of the house went outside with him & after 5 minutes the man of the house came in & went out again with a bag in his hand. When he came back, the first guy that came had finished eating.

He stood up & told the man of the house that he came purposely to borrow a wedding suit from him & told the man he will be getting married in the next one week. The man of the house said to him, ' Haa, that young man you saw that rushed in the other time came for the same suit & I have given it to him & he is getting married the same day you are getting married.'The young man regretted the fact that he ate before delivering his mission. It was too late for him.He wept bitterly.

Friends, many of us are like that young man. There are many 'food' that will be presented to us as we go on in the journey of our destiny. Don't 'eat it' until you have 'hit it'! I mean; until you have delivered your mandate to your generation."

Stay focused on your realistic goal. Refuse to let your past and present distract you from creating a wonderful future.

In my book, "31 secrets wealthy parents teach their children that they don't want other parents know about." I shared some important thoughts on focus.

I said;
1. Focus means your five senses; sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch, are all working in unison with your spirit to achieve a common purpose.

2. Your focused concentration is the key that opens the door to a greater accomplishment.

3. Focus helps you to do first things first, and second things second; not second things first and first things later.

We have to keep our focus right. We have to stay true to our visions, goals, purpose and assignment. We have to keep our focus on what matters most.

Your goals and purpose demands your focus. Focus on your purpose and become successful.

Success is who you are!

Do You Want To Know What Successful People Use

#What_Successful_People_Use

"God has put inside every person the potential to be passionate. One individual with passion is greater than the passive force of Ninety-nine who only have an interest." John Mason

Without passion, success is difficult. Without passion, goals can't be achieved. Without passion, you will never take the risk. Without passion, you will no know more, do more and be more.

Passion is what makes an athlete wake up before Dawn even in a cold weather to train. Passion is what motivates footballers to subject themselves in training.

Passion is the compelling force, the drive the motivational incentive behind every success story. It is passion that sharpens your love for what you do that makes you a success.

If you fail to be passionate about what you love, you have failed to Succeed.

William Harzlitt said, "A strong passion for any thing will ensure success, for the desire of the end will point out the means."

You can't love what you do and not be passionate about it. You can't be passionate about what you love and don't succeed in it. Love and passion are foundational for increasing success.

What passion does to me:
1. It makes me study for to solve more problems.

2. It makes me spend hours in the place of prayer for the lives of the young and next generation.

3. It makes me connect the the people that will work with us to impact preteens and teens with the right values, and help parents bring out the best in their children.

4. It helps me learn more, set goals and plan and pursue the goals to excel in it.

5. Passion makes me seek for support, partners and sponsors, in order to impact more live with God's love.

6. Passion keep me on my table researching for solutions to the challenges of our children.

7. Passion for Excellence makes me perform exceptionally.

8. Passion brings me into quality relationship with people who love what I do for children.

9. Passion makes me see clearly, know better, and impact more lives.

10. Passion makes me consistent, persistent, seek for excellence and never giving up.

11. Passion makes me strategize without loosing hope even after many failures.

I have come to realize that "nothing significant can be achieved in life without passion. Your power to perform excellently resides in your passion for success.

Passion is one thing that successful people have in common.

Keep fueling your passion for what you love and you will succeed in no distant time.

Keep your passion alive and it will make success happen repeatedly for you.

Warning: Never replace knowledge, skillfulness and intelligence with passion. With all your passion add all other skills and you will become an exceptional success.

Passion makes success possible for you. Don't trade your passion for salary; put it into what you love and life for and you will see yourself succeeding.

Set a target for success. Start pressing towards the mark - the mark of excellent success. With consistent passion you will make success your daily companion.

It may take time, but it should not stop you.

It may look impossible, but it should not stop you.

Many may laugh at you and look down on you, but don't look down on yourself.

You may be rejected by those you trusted, just because your goal has not been achieved, but you don't have to reject yourself.

Life may not be fair to you now, but you have to be fair to yourself. Whatever you have, use it to maximize success.

You are the right person to grow successful; stay true to your course and you will be glad you did.

Your life will always face challenges, but Success is not far from your.

Walk The Talk

#THEORY_NEVER_BIRTHS_SUCCESS.

Success demands words and works. If you keep "wording" without "working" on your words, Success will become an illusion to you.

Let Go And Be Successful

#Your_Success_Is_Not_In_Your_Past

"Sometimes our past gives us good memories, but the memories of the past are not good enough to replace your present and future."

"Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead." Phil 3:13

If you keep looking back, you'll soon be heading that way. If you keep celebrating your past successes without building yourself for more, you will soon be outdated. If you focus only on your past, you will deprive your mind from releasing its wealth of creativity.

Your past is your past, there is no future in it. Your past is what has happened, your present is what is happening and your future is what you bring out from within you. Letting go your past will help you gain focus on your present, to birth the future you desire.

If you waste today lamenting yesterday, you will waste tomorrow lamenting today. Squash the good old days. The good old days are only good and old, today is new and can be better if you put it to effective use.

"Stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you can be." Mike Murdock

There is more in and for you than your knowledge and experience has revealed to you. You are more than your past has presented to you. You are better than all your best days and experiences. "You can't go back to yesterday to make a brand new start, but you can start from today and make a brand new end," said Carl Bard

All the good of the past can't stop the present from becoming better. If you focus on your past, you are depriving your life from progress. The more you look back, the less you will get ahead.

If you want to have uncommon success, fill your heart with the dream of the future, not with the history of the past. Let the passion for more create a new experience for you. Love to be better each day so that 'the good old days' will only remain 'good old days; not better old days.'

You can't have a better to day and the best tomorrow if you are thinking about the good or bad yesterday all the time. Like Laura Palmer advised: "Don't waste today regretting yesterday instead of making a memory for tomorrow."

Keep your future alive by Maximizing your today. Walk into each new day with the hope that it will always be better that the other days. Give your past the opportunity to remain a past.

Yesterday will always be yesterday; let it remain yesterday!

It Will Work If You Plan It

#Your_Success_Demands_Your_Plan.

"One plan achieved is better than one billion wishes and promises not achieved." Abibo Berepele

Converting one wish to a plan and acting on it is far better than adding more exciting wishes to an existing one.

One billion wishes can never be called a plan; it  can never replace one good plan achieved.

What exactly is planning?

It is deciding in advance what should be done, why it should be done, where it should be done, when it should be done, who should do it and how it should be done.

The last time I failed to plan, I planned my failure in advance. The last time I planned to succeed, success became more possible for me. "Planning is the key to success because the success of a project will depend critically upon the effort, care and skill you apply in the initial planning." Said Gerald M. Blair.

I have noticed that I made no tangible progress without proper and constructive thinking and planning.

Robert William's "Seven Thoughts on Success."

1. Developing a vision for greatness in life.

2. Draw a chart on how you want to go about the success and adhere to it.

3. Delight yourself in the Lord by accepting His will in your life.

4. Depart from evil things and friends that waste your time and life.

5. Demand success and receive it from God.

6. Depend on God's guidance.

7. Do your work diligently now, now is the time.

Success is possible for us all if we will plan effectively and work on our plans. We can succeed with the smallest ideas we have when  we give time to planning it and give ourselves to working it.

Success is who you are!

You Are Not Your Failures

#Success_Is_Possible_After_Many_Failures

Henry Ford said, "Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently."

Thomas Edison expected failures on his way to success. It was all part of the learning process. He allowed failure to tutor him, but not to torture him; the he continued on down the path that much smarter and wiser.

In his words, Thomas Edison said, "Show me a thoroughly satisfied man, and I will show you a failure."

Robert Schuller says, "I'd rather attempt something great and fail than attempt nothing and Succeed." In his book: You can Become the Person you want to be, he wrote:

Failure doesn't mean you are a failure...it does mean you haven't succeeded yet.

Failure doesn't mean you have accomplished nothing...it does mean you have learned something.

Failure doesn't mean you have been a fool...it does mean you have a lot of faith.

Failure doesn't mean you've been disgraced...it does mean you were willing to try.

Failure doesn't mean you are inferior...it does mean you are not perfect.

Failure doesn't mean you've wasted your life...it does mean you have a reason to start afresh.

Failure doesn't mean you should give up...it does mean you must try better.

Failure doesn't mean you will never make it...it does mean it is taking a little longer.

Failure doesn't mean God has abandoned you...it does mean God has a better idea.

Don't let the activities of failure stop you from succeeding. Don't give in to the thoughts that defines you as a failure. Don't keep calling yourself a failure you are not.

Success may come to you after many failures, but you are not a failure.

Success is who you are!

Work Within And Succeed

#Success_Is_A_Work_From_Within

How you see yourself + How you value yourself = How you talk about yourself.

What are you saying about yourself?
What are your parents saying about themselves?
What are your children saying about themselves?
All are products of your self-image amd self-esteem.

I suffered a high level of poor self-image, self-esteem and self- talk. This took me time to deal with as it also made me fail in areas I should have excelled in.

How did I move from low negative to high positive?

How am I improving from/on my past Success to create more Excellent Success on a daily basis?

How did I move from living a low life of comparison to a higher life of complement and completeness, even in the absence of all I need and want?

This is one of the biggest challenges our children face today in this fast grown world.

I am working on a book to help us create a maximum life for kids, teens and Students, such that they will discover, develop, deploy and maximize their life.

This book will not be more than 40 pages, but the values in it will last them for more than 40years of their life.

Would you love to read this work and also have some copies for your children, church and students?

If you would, the ask me to remind you about it.

I will be sending you some words that will keep you ready to create the success you were waiting for.

Mind Your Mind

#Mind_Your_Mind

"If your mind can't create it, it can conceive it. If it can't do any one of them, it should go get it. Whatever it takes, the mind should be trained for success."

The Soup Was Bitter

#The_Soup_Was_Bitter

I was so afraid to make soup. I was almost 22years old when I first made a small pot of soup.

I remembered adding almost everything they use for soup and rice just to make the soup have an excellent taste, yet it was like poison to those who are it.

That Sunday was a special day to me and most of the time my friends promised to visit me. They all insisted they wanted soup made by me.

Well, I accepted to make the soup myself, so I went to the market to get more than the ingredients needed.

I spent more money than I should, just to satisfy the wants of my friends. They all came as promised and I made the soup as also promised.

The aroma of the soup filled the house and everyone praised me, with great expectations to have a nice meal.

The food was served, they all prayed together and got their hands into the Garrick plate. As they deep the Garrick into the soup and put it right into their mouths, they couldn't swallow.

You know what will follow after such incident. Some laughter's, some smile's, some insults... all as friends.
.....
.....

Few weeks after, I went to my mum to teach me how to make good soup, and she did. I repeatedly practiced and gave to some neighbours to taste and they enjoyed the meal. I remembered giving to a young girl who was very selective with all that goes into her mouth. At first she rejected to have a taste, but after many plead, she had a taste, but didn't stop there. She kept asking me for soup every week.

Moving forward, I decided to invite those friends again for a meal. This time, the story was different. They all enjoyed the meal and asked for more.

This is how Success works!

Success is a progressive movement from one level of rejection to more levels of acceptance and recommendations.

At first, you may fail, but failure is not final. I believe that mistakes are just feedbacks. It's not how far you fall but how high you bounce that makes all the difference.

John Mason said, "One of the riskiest things you can do in life is to take too many precautions and never have any failures or mistakes. Failure is the opportunity to start over more intelligently.

Just like I teeter on the edge of disaster, many who are now succeeding were called failures on their journey to success.

Never define yourself by your experiences, define yourself by your purpose and you will keep progressing in Success.

#Obstacles_Are_Good_For_Your_Success.

The juice will never come if the orange is not pressed. The orange will always feel the pain, but it waits patiently until its best comes out.

Obstacles are a part of your success journey. They come to test, train or take you; how you respond to them makes the difference.

"Paths without obstacles don't lead anywhere important." John Mason

Every Successful person has some records of encountered obstacles, problems and challenges across their paths. Their decisions and how they respond to them and viewed them was significant to their success.

I am a success and I am succeeding, not because I didn't face challenges, but that I never let them take me off my vision.

You can always measure a man by the amount of opposition it takes to discourage him. Refusing to let yourself become discouraged by temporary setbacks qualifies you for consistent Victories.

James Billet said "you will never be the person you can be if pressure, tension and discipline are taken out of your life."

You are greater than your opposition's. You are wiser than your challenges. You have the capacity to win after many falls. Don't let your experiences decided your future. Like J. Sidlow Baxter mentioned; "Every opportunity us a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity."

In your success journey, you will face many obstacles and difficulties; your attitude towards them will bring you into Success or failure.

Never give up; keep your focus!

Is Success Your Biggest Fear?

#Succeed_In_Your_Biggest_Fears

A 3years old child was to start walking, but he never did. Everyone was troubled because he was of the age to walk.

They tried putting him up to stand and walk, but it was to no avail. The entire family were worried about his challenge, not until one day....

On this fearful day, he was cripping out of the house, to sit at the entrance of his door when he saw a very big dog coming towards his direction. The child stood up and ran into his room, for the very first time. That was the end of his cripping and the beginning of him walking.

Success is not the victory you gain in the absence of your fears, it iz your ability to know your fears, master them, be persuasive about your goal and conquer the fears.

Most times we are afraid of success because we are afraid that  succeeding is too hard for us. This has made many give into the fear of success and that has birth the confidence of failure.

Almost eveybody experience some kind of fear,  practically everyday of our lives. We are afraid  to do what we should do, but  we know that doing them will make us better and make life of more valuable to others.

Iffear as something that's bad and should be avoided, you'll run away at every opportunity.

If you see fear as something that should be pursued, conquered and mastered, you’ll develop the #resilience and #grit to deal with it.

Stop cripping, you can't Crip into your desired success.

Stop wishing you can walk, set yourself up to walk and the walkability in you will be activated.

Stop stopping yourself from walking into your success, start succeeding by setting out your first foot.

Most times your fears are afraid of you. They are like dead ants, because your recognize them and the air can push them from one point to another, you think they are still alive and walking.

Your fear is the obstacle that tries to discourage you and stand in the way of success. To conquer your fears, you have to do the things you fear to do and the death of fear is certain.

It's time to succeed! It's time to take advantage of your fears! It's time to do and be your best!

Win your fears daily and you will walk into your daily successes!

Success is who you are!

Succeed by planning:

#Succeed_by_Planning

Your first son walks to you and said, "Give me money and I I love know what to do with it." Then your second son comes with his own request; "I want to do this and I don't have the money to do it, please give me some money." Which of them will you give your money to and why?

Planning is the basic language for receiving assistance or support. Wealthy people don't support or sponsor wishes, they support plans.

Planning simplifies your life and keeps you focused.

Planning reduces your stress and increases your strength to achieve specific tasks.

Planning makes you achieve more and procrastinate less.

Planning gives you room to review, correct and programme your activities to achieve a set goal.

Without planning, you will never live a fulfilled life.

If everything in your life is sudden, let planning be the first sudden thing that you happen to you and for you each day.

You can plan your self into endless success.

Succeed by planning!
