... For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrew 13:5
There was a time in the old testament law when God would be with you only when you were in complete obedience. But when you failed, He could leave you.
Today, however, you and I are under a completely different covenant and God will never leave us. Why? Because at the cross, Jesus sealed a new covenant of love for us.
At the cross, He became our burnt offering. He bore our sins and failures; and carries our punishments.
God's judgement against our sins fell upon Jesus, who was forsaken at the cross by His Father so that today, we can have God's eternal acceptance and unending love in our lives. Matthew 27:46.
He took our sins and gave us His righteousness. He took our failures and gave u a his success. He took all that was wrong with us and gave us all that He is in the Father.
His success is now ours eternally.
What a success gift!
Look at our opening scripture from the Amplified Bible.
" I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let (you) down (release my hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]"
Wow! God says He will not, and I believe He will not, and that is exactly what it is in my life and your life today.
WHAT DOES GOD MEAN?
God means what He said. He only spoke what has already happened in Him.
What he means when He said "NEVER" is that He is always ready, willing and available to release His love for us.
It means there is nothing we can do that can stop Him from loving us and blessing us.
When we are up or down, glad or sad, doing well or have failed, He is still with us.
Because you sinned doesn't mean God will leave you . He does not love sin, but He does not hate you. He always approves of His love for you.
NEVER!
The word never is the Greek word "out me" which is a double negative : never, never.
If failure meets God's love, that failure turns to success for you. That's what Jesus has done for you! He had given us the constant love of the Father.
We can never never be left alone because of our wrongs. All that Jesus paid for is now ours.
Now we have prosperity, peace, provisions, wisdom, success and all that God's love has provided for us. We can't help but succeed.
Success is who you are!
