BE RESPONSIBLE.: six ways that can help teens be responsible

Being responsible is the culture and nature of the new creation.  It is the life of our Father given to us His children to manifest His nature daily.

"Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself.
Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life." Galatians 6:4-5(Msg)

God didn't just create us to be responsible,  He wants us to be responsible.

What  does it mean to be responsible?
It means you are a person who cause something to happen. It means you give yourself to a task and accept the results that shows up from the task.
It also means that you are faithful to your own obligation.

One of the most pervasive myths in African culture today is that we are entitled to a great life - that somehow, somewhere,  someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness,  exciting career options, nurturing family,  blissful personal relationship simply because we exist.

They have sold this believe and culture to many generations so much that most teenagers believe that someone else is responsible for their success or failure.

But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live.  That person is you.

If you have to succeed as a teenager,  you have to accept and take 100percent responsibility for everything that you experience in your life.  Don't blame people and don't wait for God for what He has empowered, equipped and annointed you to do. Take responsibility in hat Christ has done for you.

SIX WAYS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE.

1. Accept the Love and Forgiveness of God.  1 John 4:15-18(NLB)
2. Reject fear in your life.  2Timothy 1:7.
3. Allow the Holy Spirit To Help you.  John 14:16-17.
4. Change what you hear and think.  Roman's 10:17, 12:2(NLT)
5. Make use of the opportunities you have.  Matthew 25.
6. Don't be idle,  do something.  Deuteronomy 1:6-8(Msg).

God is responsible that's why He gave us responsibilities

To achieve major success in life,  to achieve those things that are most important to you,  you must take complete responsibility foR your life.  Nothing less than that.

Being responsible is a virtue successful people express. Be responsible.

Thanks
